Clayton Connect is looking to add a Safety Coordinator to our growing team! The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Safety and Compliance teams in multiple administrative functions. Candidates with a strong administrative background and desire to grow in a safety related role in the transportation industry are encouraged to apply! More job details below:
Duties / Responsibilities:
· Data Entry
· Assist with maintaining and auditing driver compliance files
· Ordering supplies and materials
· Assisting with the creation and distribution of reports
· Monitoring incoming safety calls and returning calls when necessary
· Coordinating drug screens and physicals with medical providers
· Assist with incident reporting, workman’s compensation administration, and accident files.
- Other projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Associates degree preferred
- 1 to 2 years of admin experience required
- Strong desire to grow in the safety and compliance field
- Very organized with a sharp eye for detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Able to interact effectively at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent planning and follow-up skills; Ability to multi-task is essential
- Advanced PC skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.
- Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
- Constantly works in an indoor, temperature-controlled, sealed-window office environment.
- Work primarily involves sitting / standing.
