What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pilot/Escort Driver position at Clayton Connect- Tennessee 7012?
Clayton Connect is actively searching for Escort Drivers. Escort Drivers follow behind or drive in front of our Toter drivers who pull our manufactured homes.
Driving an oversized load creates unique safety concerns that our Escort Drivers help to address, from switching lanes to bridge crossings, they ensure the safety of the Toter driver, their load, and everyone else on the road.
Earnings start at $15.00/per hour for first 90 days. $16.50/per hour after 90 days.
*Overtime pay after 40 hours*
$60 premiums paid for each night out on the road.
- Typically Monday-Friday, some weekend work when necessary.
- Deliver Clayton manufactured homes in a regional area.
- Clayton provided trucks.
- Company pays for hotels (average of 3 nights out per week)
