Job Summary:
The Clayton County Health District seeks to hire a qualified candidate for the position of Customer Service Rep 1. Under direct supervision, works and communicates with the general public, internal customers and/or external customers to provide information and services targeted to meet customer expectations.
Job Responsibilities:
Completes tasks and assignments associated with administrative support and call center functions * Provides clerical support such as operating a multi-phone line system, scheduling of appointments, verification of insurance, records retrieval, and disseminating program information * Provides clerical support within assigned functional area (i.e. processing/transactions, review of applications, reconciling financial records, assessing/collecting fees for a program, generating reports * Provides general clerical support to front office staff , to include such tasks as data entry/maintenance, copying/distributing documents and materials, maintaining recordkeeping and filing systems, etc. * Provides administrative support to an upper-level manager * Uses independent judgment and initiative to perform administrative, clerical and secretarial duties in support of an individual employee or group of employees * May provide guidance to less experienced staff in proper procedures of day-to-day operations * Performs job responsibilities with minimal supervision
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED AND Six months of experience handling customer’s questions, complaints and/or providing information.
Preferred Qualifications:
