Daily Duties:
- Ability to safely restrain both canine and feline patients
- Physically able to lift up to 40lbs solo or assist in group lift weight over 100lbs
- Great client communication skills
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Confident in the role of both Vet tech/assistant, and customer service representative
- Understanding of routine pet care (vaccine scheduling, heartworm and flea prevention, etc.)
- Proficient with computers (Windows)
- Accurate medical record keeping (Pulse Practice software a plus)
- Blood draws / IV catheter placement
- Anesthetic induction and monitoring
- Canine and feline nail trims/anal glands and ear cleanings
- Filling medication and prescription food requests
- Stock incoming inventory items and notify clinic manager of low supplies
- Daily cleaning and upkeep of clinic
- Other duties as needed
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 27 per week
