Clayton Services is searching for a Collections Specialist to join a thriving company in the Southeast Houston area.
Job Type : Temp-to-Hire (approximately 30 hours / week)
Work Setting : Remote opportunity after initial onsite training is completed
Pay Rate : $24.00-$26.00 / hour

Collections Specialist Responsibilities :
- Contact customers to collect outstanding payments via telephone, email, and mail.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and customer correspondence.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers
- Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and take appropriate action
- Collaborate with accounting and sales teams to resolve billing discrepancies
- Prepare and send regular reports on collection activities and account status
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- Other duties and projects as assigned
