Project Manager, Southern Site Contractors / Goodall Homes, Knoxville, TN area

GENERAL FUNCTION:

Provide planning, management, cost estimation and documentation for excavation activities and utility installations. Project Manager directs and organizes the site crews according to the project time line and provides the necessary resources to complete the project

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Estimating: Analyze and compile estimate data that impact labor costs, materials, equipment requirements, location and other factors to ensure a timely estimate. Review drawings, specifications and proposed project site conditions to determine final project estimate. Analyzes risk versus profitability of each estimate. Complete take-off’s to confirm quantities and ensure accuracy of drawings.

· Project Management: Evaluates project documents to plan procedures, starting and completion times, and staffing requirements for each phase of construction. Orders procurement of tools, equipment, and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules.

· Leadership: Directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays. Manages supervisory and engineering personnel, inspectors, and suppliers to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods.

· Quality and Safety: Inspects work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and the adherence to construction schedules. Dedicated to maintaining a zero-accident culture by adhering to site safety protocols and OSHA safety standards

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Must submit to background and random drug testing

2. Must hold a valid driver’s license

3. 5 years of construction management experience

4. Detailed Oriented

5. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

6. Experience working in a team environment.
