The Civil and Structural Engineer will lead and design small to large projects with a primary focus on various structures, including retaining walls, site development, drainage, paving, structural foundations, and structural steel.

Civil And Structural Engineer Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of design concepts, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
- Prepare and review design calculations for accuracy.
- Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing of concrete, and steel structures.
- Coordinates design drawings with fellow engineers and drafting technicians.
- Perform design checks as part of the quality metrics and best practices.
- P articipate in the inspection and rehabilitation of existing structures.
- Help resolve design problems that may include performing field investigations or inspections, detailed design works, and detailed checking of design computations done by others.
- Calculates quantity estimates.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, SAP2000 or STAAD and Ensoft (L-pile/A-pile)
- Availability to travel to client sites
- Excellent math and analytical skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- Master's degree is preferred.
- Must have five years of experience.
- Professional Engineering registration in Texas or able to obtain within six months of hire.
- Ability to work on Federal Projects and meet federal requirements.
- Possession of or eligibility to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) preferred.
