Clayton Services is searching for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a thriving company in Northwest Houston.

Job Type : Direct Hire

Pay Rate : $130,000-$135,000 / year

Senior Electrical Engineer Responsibilities :

  • Design AC and DC electrical systems
  • Program and implement industrial PCs, PLCs, and HMIs
  • Perform electrical calculations and ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes
  • Troubleshoot installed systems
  • Create bills of materials and schematics for projects
  • Collaborate with various departments throughout the company on projects
  • Other duties as assigned

Senior Electrical Engineer Skills and Abilities :

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multitask
  • Computer proficiency

    • Senior Electrical Engineer Education and Experience :

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field is required
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience is required
  • Previous experience working in a shop / field setting and troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems is required
  • General knowledge of programming is required
  • AutoCAD experience is highly preferred
  • Experience working with Allen Bradley Micrologix and National Instruments LabView is required
