We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Clayton Nursing and Rehabilitation. As a leading provider in the long-term care industry, we strive to deliver exceptional care and service to our patients and residents.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities of the role include evaluating patients/residents to collect data, observing condition and reporting changes in condition, contributing to nursing assessments and care planning, administering medications and performing treatments per physician orders, and supervising and monitoring patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
To be successful in this role, you must have a graduate degree from an approved school for practical or vocational nursing. Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure is also required. Additionally, you must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
