- Meets all qualifications/requirements for Truss Builder 1, and 2 and can demonstrate proficiency of Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities of those roles.
- Truss Builder – Table
- Understands all measurements on plans.
- Heel height.

- Identifies different trusses (Common, Gable, Hip, Girder, Lay Down, Jacks and Valleys etc.)
- Understands how to set up the truss jig
- Ensures quality of truss
- Base line for straight
iii. Gaps
- Plate size
- Trouble shoots truss build issues
- Knows how to build jack trusses
- Makes major repairs to damaged trusses
- Cleanups as required for area
- Floor Truss Builder II
- Understands all floor truss measurements
- Builds floor truss proficiently with little to no supervision
- Understands how to measure and cut webs on chop saw
- Understands why and how to make repairs to floor truss
- Cleanups as required for area
- Knowledge of common building materials used in residential, multi-family and commercial construction
- Knowledge of component manufacturing process used in residential, multi-family and commercial construction
- Attention to detail, takes pride in quality of work
- Efficient and able to complete assignments within a given deadline
- Strong teamwork ethics
- Communicates effectively with team members
- Must have qualified as a Truss Builder 2
