Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Independent Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting packages to various locations including residential areas in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate routes effectively. The Courier Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through prompt deliveries. We specialize in the delivery of smaller parcel pkgs. Vast majority weighing less than 10lbs.
- Drive your own vehicle
- The routes will be between 70-150 packages daily (depending on vehicle size)
- Pay varies according to how many packages you deliver
- Typical route takes approximately 2 to 6 hours to complete
Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vehicles to transport goods safely.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring items are secured during transit.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or maps to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and delivery confirmations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Courier, Delivery Driver, or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety practices.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading techniques.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $75.00 - $150.00 per day
