Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pallet Maker to join our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with various hand and power tools. As a Pallet Maker, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling pallets to meet production demands while ensuring quality and safety standards are upheld.
Duties
- Fabricate pallets using appropriate materials and tools according to specifications.
- Assemble pallet components efficiently on the assembly line.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the factory.
- Conduct regular inspections of tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic machinery issues.
- Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for fabrication tasks.
- Familiarity with assembly line processes is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Forklift certification is advantageous but not mandatory; training may be provided.
