Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing the movement of materials and products. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and the ability to operate various types of equipment safely and effectively.
Duties
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks.
- Operate cranes and cherry pickers to move materials within the warehouse.
- Build and assemble pallets for shipping or storage as needed.
- Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer requests accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock movements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, cherry pickers, cranes, and other material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently while following safety guidelines.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
