Boat Captain

Aloha! We are CLE Tiki Barge, the only tropical experience on the Cuyahoga River and Inner Harbor! We are currently hiring safe, responsible, and outgoing BOAT CAPTAINS to fulfill the following duties this 2025 season:

- Operate our 5 vessels ranging from 26-52 feet, single and twin screw

- All applicants must be age 21 or over, able to pass mandatory drug screenings through Maritime Consortium & be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends & holidays.

- Have reliable transportation

- Navigate & dock the boat when needed

- Communicate with local bridges, freighters, and safety entities on the water

- Assist in creating a fun and safe atmosphere so that passengers enjoy our unique experience

- Maintain the boat while in his/her care

- Making sure dock facilities are maintained & kept in order

- Assist with set-up & breakdown before & after each cruise

- Keep boat clean & sanitized in between each cruise & at end of shift

- Check-in customers and ensure waivers are signed

- Minimum USCG 25 ton Master Captain License requirement

- Local waterway knowledge required

- Local candidates preferred

-TIPS split 50/50 with 1st Mate
