CNC Machinist
CleanAir, with over 50 years of expertise in air pollution testing and consulting, is a leading provider of instrumentation, testing services, and custom equipment manufacturing. We are seeking a dedicated CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. We offer flexible employment options, including full-time, part-time, or on an "as-needed" basis.
Position Overview :
As a CNC Machinist, you will play a key role in the production of components used in assembly processes. You will work with a variety of machines and may also assist with product assembly, instrument calibration, repair, and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of production shop systems and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan machining processes by reviewing work orders, blueprints, materials, and specifications to ensure accurate production.
- Program machines by inputting instructions, setting tool registers and offsets, and calculating requirements using basic math, geometry, and trigonometry.
- Monitor stock levels and request necessary materials from purchasing.
- Ensure part specifications are met by adhering to quality assurance standards and procedures.
- Provide innovative solutions to enhance component production efficiency.
- Maintain machinery by following preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating repairs as needed.
