We also support policies and work directly with private industry to innovate in technology to make the path to zero emissions swift and affordable. ROLE
CATF is seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Director to lead our new Electricity Program. This program is central to advancing CATF's mission by supporting strategies and solutions to decarbonize the electrical sector through research, analysis, strategic thought leadership, and policy advocacy. The Program Director will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of a comprehensive strategy to achieve an electricity system worldwide. This role requires a deep understanding of the complexities, needs, and challenges of the electrical sector in a carbon-constrained world, including expertise on electric market regulation and market design, as well as the ability to engage and collaborate with a diverse array of stakeholders.
Key Functions and Responsibilities :
Program development and strategy :
- Lead the design and execution of CATF's global Electricity Program, including setting clear goals, strategies, and metrics for success
- Develop and execute technology-neutral electric program analysis, strategic thought leadership, and policy advocacy
- Identify and address content and advocacy gaps within CATF's electricity sector strategy, providing technical support and thought leadership to other CATF programs, regions, and legal teams
- Collaborate and support other CATF programs and regions for electric sector-related activities, thought leadership, and advocacy

Compensation and Location :
This is a full-time, remote position flexible within the U.S. with a preference for candidates located in Washington, D.C. or Boston, Massachusetts. CATF offers an excellent benefits package and an annual salary range of $170,000 – $190,000, depending on experience.
