Job Description
The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing the clinical treatment program within a licensed behavioral health center specializing in addiction treatment. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care, compliance with regulatory standards, and the development of a clinical team dedicated to client recovery. The ideal candidate will be a licensed clinician with extensive experience in addiction treatment and behavioral health leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership and supervision to clinical staff, including therapists, counselors, and case managers.
- Develop, implement, and oversee clinical programs that align with best practices in addiction treatment and behavioral health care.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and ethical guidelines.
- Ensure all documentation is completed and signed off on in a timely manner.
- Provides regular feedback in conjunction with internal auditing processes.
- Conduct regular clinical staff meetings, trainings, and performance evaluations.
- Conducts routine supervision with clinical staff.
- Monitor client care and treatment outcomes to ensure effectiveness and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the intake and assessment process to ensure appropriate client placement and treatment planning.
- Implement and monitor policies and procedures related to clinical operations.
- Serve as a key liaison with external agencies, referral sources, and community partners.
- Manage clinical documentation standards and ensure adherence to HIPAA and confidentiality regulations.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Masters Level Degree (or equivalent) in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling and 5 years of experience working in addiction treatment from an accredited institution.
- Must be licensed as a practitioner to provide treatment, therapeutic advice, or counseling for the rehabilitation of drug-dependent persons in compliance with state practice acts or certified as an addiction counselor.
- Certified in the state of West Virginia with one of the following license(s) is preferred: LPC LCSW
- Must have at least one (1) year of supervisory and administrative experience (Clinical Director level) in the field of substance abuse treatment
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
