Pool Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing residential swimming pools, ensuring they are clean, safe, and functioning properly. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with pool maintenance equipment.

Duties

• Perform routine pool cleaning and maintenance tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces.
• Conduct water testing and chemical balancing to ensure optimal water quality.
• Inspect and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and installations.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients about their pool maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and any repairs made.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to pool equipment and recommend appropriate solutions.

Experience

• Previous experience as a service technician or in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform equipment repairs.
• Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques and maintenance best practices is essential.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• A valid driver's license is needed for use of company vehicles for travel to various job sites.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
