General Cleaner

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and upkeep, ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of hygiene and presentation.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Execute residential painting tasks as needed to maintain aesthetic appeal.
• Conduct commercial cleaning duties that may include floor care, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Engage in facilities maintenance activities to ensure all equipment is functioning properly and spaces are well-maintained.
• Carry out industrial cleaning tasks that may involve the use of specialized equipment and techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness standards through regular inspections and by addressing any issues promptly.
• Utilize buffing techniques on floors to enhance their appearance and longevity.
• Assist with porter duties as necessary to support overall facility operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in custodial or cleaning roles is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
• Willingness to learn new skills.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
