Responsibilities:
1. Surface preparation: Thoroughly prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching, and caulking to ensure a smooth and even finish.
2. Paint application: Apply paint, stains, varnishes, or other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers, ensuring a consistent and well-finished result.
3. Surface protection: Cover and protect surfaces, furniture, and fixtures that are not to be painted, ensuring the surrounding areas are free from paint splatters or damage.
4. Compliance with union guidelines: Adhere to union guidelines, safety regulations, and industry standards to ensure a safe and productive work environment for yourself and others.
5. Equipment maintenance: Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment regularly, ensuring they are in good working condition and ready for use.
