Job Description

Under general direction, the Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to all Plant Operations including but not limited to Verify accuracy on inbound manifests to receive, printing / scanning documents, and constant communicating with all departments.

Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions) :

  • Regular contact with local management and various levels of personnel from Local, Regional and Corporate office.
  • Create and distributes all interoffice memos.
  • Makes copies of all manifests coming back to be received by warehouse staff.
  • Preps and signs manifest’s that drivers bring back and gets them ready for weekly transfer.
  • Greets customers and vendor that come in and makes sure they are directed to correct person.
  • Works with supply person to ensure proper supplies are ordered.
  • Works with office personnel and helps where needed.
  • Meters and gets mail ready for outgoing pick up.
  • Create and distributes interoffice memos.
  • Regular interaction with cross functional teams.
  • Assists both customers and vendors with questions and / or problems
  • Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications : Qualifications

Basic Required Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 years of experience providing administrative support
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • High developed verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines with accuracy.
  • Attention to Detail – Demonstrates the ability to review or proofread work for accuracy; complete specific projects or assignments independently; concentrates on tasks at hand, even in distracting work environments.
