Construction Superintendent

You will have the opportunity to collaborate with the owner, share responsibilities, and play an instrumental role in shaping our future success. What You’ll Be Doing:

Client & Project Management:

• Gather all necessary project details to prepare accurate estimates.
• Take measurements, develop material lists, and obtain bids from subcontractors.
• Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, permits, and materials.
• Keep clients informed with daily job logs, project updates, and any change orders.
• Perform final walk-throughs with clients and ensure satisfaction.

Administrative & Scheduling:

• Attend and provide input at Project Meetings with multiple stakeholders, anticipate stakeholder needs, and proactively identify solutions to support ongoing projects.
• Ensure subcontractor bids are timely and accurate.
• Manage and update the Gantt chart for project timelines, and keep the Google Calendar current with schedules.
• Collaborate with admin for necessary permits, inspections, and Dig requests.

Job Site Supervision:

• Oversee the daily progress of multiple simultaneously active job sites to ensure quality work and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot any challenges and assist as needed to keep projects on track.
• Make sure crews have all necessary tools and materials, and conduct site clean-ups upon completion.

Project Completion & Client Relations:

• Walk clients through the final project and address any concerns before inspections.
• Ensure all punch list items are completed and client satisfaction is achieved.
• Take photos of completed projects for the portfolio.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Maintain company truck and tools, coordinating with admin for fleet upkeep.
• Help vet new subcontractors and suppliers to ensure we have the best partners for every job.
• Support the admin team with follow-ups, estimates, and client communications as needed.

• Proficiency with project management software (experience with Google Suite and project tracking is a plus).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Project management: 3 years (Required)
• Frame carpentry: 3 years (Required)
