Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Local Class A CDL Driver to join our team at our Kimball, NE facility. As a driver, you will operate a variety of vehicles including End-dumps, Roll-offs, Vans, and Tankers to transport waste between our incinerator and landfill locations. You will also assist with van movement between 10-day yards and tanker movement from Sterling, CO, Monday-Friday 7a-4p, 40-45 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Ensure that Health and Safety is always the number one priority.
* Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
* Perform waste pick up from customer locations utilizing roll off trucks, vans, end-dumps and tankers;
* Hauling drum loads using double and triple axle trailers.
* Drivers are responsible for loading and off-loading their loads.
* Maintain logs, time sheets, expense reports dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports.
Requirements
* High School diploma or equivalent required.
* Class A CDL required.
* Hazmat; Tanker endorsements required.
* Doubles/Triples preferred.
* The ability to use a mobile device required.
* Complete A Driver Qualification (DQ File).
* DOT Training/Physical.
* Climb on and off semi.
* Ability to perform multiple tasks.
* Lifting up to 50 lbs from the ground to your waste.
* Climb up and down vertical ladders.
* Capable of reaching out, over and down exerting a force.
* 20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected - depth perception is critical.
* 10 pushups, deep knee squats, and sit-ups (to determine if fit).
* Good hand/eye coordination.
* Punctuality and attendance required.
* Respirator fit test upon hire- clean shaven face required (mustache okay).
* Background check, drug screen, and physical- required.
* Must be willing to work rotating shifts Days/Nights- no exceptions.
