We are seeking an experienced OTR Class A Dry Van Driver to join our team in Kimball, NE. This role involves operating tractor trailer units and other vehicles on a route that runs from Kimball, NE to IL/MN, averaging 2800 miles per week.
Key Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a Class A CDL, 12 months of Class A driving experience, HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements, and the ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software.
Responsibilities and Expectations
- Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
- Operate tractor trailer units and other vehicles.
- Adhere to weights and ensure proper utilization of the units.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secure the loads.
- Placard vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations.
- Maintain daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports.
