Job Summary:
This position requires a highly skilled and experienced CDL Driver Class A to operate heavy equipment and manage customer environmental programs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality.
About the Role:
- Operate various types of heavy equipment, including Roll Off Trailers and Dry Vans, to pick up waste at customer facilities and transport it to designated disposal sites.
- Manage customer relationships and serve as a primary point of contact for environmental/hazardous waste.
- Conduct pre and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate records, and comply with all vehicle policies and DOT regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance on company equipment and provide general maintenance in the field.
- Direct a crew of vacuum technicians and transport equipment and personnel to and from customer locations.
- Load and unload hoses, unload vacuum trucks at dump sites, and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A or B license and relevant driving experience.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and quality.
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices and federal transportation regulations.
