Thompson Industrial Services, powered by Clean Harbors, is a leading provider of environmental and industrial services. We are seeking an experienced Class A CDL Driver / Equipment Operator to join our team in Bossier City, LA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating equipment, including roll-off trailers and dry vans, to collect waste from customer locations and transport it to designated disposal sites. This role requires strong communication skills as the driver will serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding environmental/hazardous waste.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picks up waste from customer locations utilizing vans, roll-off and/or tanker units
- Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste
- Guarantees placarding of vehicle to meet Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
- Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports
Required Qualifications:
- Class A CDL License Required
- Hazmat Endorsement Required (or ability to acquire)
- Minimum 1 Year Previous Roll Off Truck Experience Required
- Able to Travel up to 2 Nights Per Week
- Ability to obtain Tanker endorsement upon hire
- Ability to perform manual labor as required
