What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Waste Cleanup Specialist position at Clean Harbors?
At Clean Harbors, we are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Waste Cleanup Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for operating a variety of heavy and light duty trucks/work equipment at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs.
The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, as well as experience in manual labor and the handling of hazardous materials. They will also be able to safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.DOT, local, state, and federal requirements.
This position requires up to 40% overnight travel, with hotel and per diem provided. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with an average start time of 6 am and a 55-65 hour work week. Overtime may be required after 40 hours.
