**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Planner Intern to join our team at Clean Harbors in Norwell, MA. This role is ideal for current Bachelor's students who enjoy tackling new challenges and contributing to our mission of creating a safer, cleaner environment through the treatment, recycling, and disposal of hazardous materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the team in maximizing operational profit through effective planned maintenance.
- Prepare daily work orders and parts availability inquiries.
- Schedule all maintenance in accordance with manpower and shop space availability to minimize delays and maximize asset availability.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with internal and outsourced maintenance facilities within the region and occasionally throughout the US.
- Collaborate with Clean Harbors operational groups to target completion of fleet overdue inspections, recalls, and campaigns.
Administrative Tasks:
- Track all repairs in the Clean Harbors Asset Management system, including repair order notes, quotes, inspection forms, purchase orders, and final invoices.
- Facilitate maintenance repair requests with management, the internal maintenance organization, and vendors.
Education and Skills:
- Current student working towards a Bachelor's degree.
- Strategic planning and tactical execution skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Applications, including MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Access.
