Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-oriented individual to join our team as an Environmental Operations Technician. This role will be responsible for performing industrial labor and other physically demanding work outdoors, under potentially adverse conditions, as well as within the facility/plant work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority.
- Operate industrial equipment, including forklifts.
- Perform general labor throughout the facility.
- Ensure the safety of oneself and others.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to train on forklift operation.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- DOT Training.
- Proficiency in Windows-based applications.
- Climb on and off forklifts.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs from the ground to waist level.
- Climb up and down vertical ladders.
- Capable of reaching out, over, and down exerting a force.
- 20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected - depth perception is critical.
- 10 push-ups, deep knee squats, and sit-ups (to determine if fit).
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Punctuality and attendance required.
