CDL Equipment Operator Job Summary
The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong understanding of hydroblasting equipment operation, as well as excellent safety practices. In this position, you will be responsible for the safe execution of jobs across various service lines, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operate manual and automated hydroblasting equipment in a hands-on capacity;
- Maintain routine inspections of company equipment to ensure conformance to specifications;
- Transport personnel and equipment to and from customer locations in a timely manner;
- Comply with all vehicle policy and DOT requirements;
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid CDL Class A or B license;
- Strong knowledge of emergency equipment operation, including fire extinguishers;
- Experience operating vacuum trucks;
- Working knowledge of wet and dry vacuums;
- Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment, including nomex coveralls, back belts, and hard hats.
