Job Description

Clean Harbors, a leader in environmental services, seeks a seasoned Parts Washer Sales Specialist to drive revenue growth for the Safety Kleen Parts Washer line of business through strategic business development and sales efforts.

About the Role

This key position involves working closely with sales leadership and other stakeholders to formulate and implement market strategies, prioritize business goals, and develop plans to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting business development activities to increase sales revenue and unit placement growth in assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities

The Parts Washer Sales Specialist will be responsible for:
  • Developing and implementing business development strategies to increase sales revenue and unit placement growth in assigned territories.
  • Conducting business development activities to increase sales revenue and unit placement growth in assigned territories.
  • Working closely with sales leadership and other stakeholders to formulate and implement market strategies, prioritize business goals, and develop plans to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Maintaining company/contact information and documenting all sales calls, customer visits, and business opportunities in Salesforce software.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • Tenacious, assertive, strong organizational skills, and a hunter mentality.
  • Proven ability to develop a book of business.
  • Working knowledge and current use of Salesforce.com is a plus.
  • 3 years business-to-business sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Time and territory management skills to ensure focus on value-added sales activities.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to facilitate a service team approach to ensure customer satisfaction and follow-through.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to drive decision-making.
  • Experience with waste determination and waste disposal technology.
  • Ability to travel within the region.
