What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Waste Collector position at Clean Harbors?
Clean Harbors offers a unique opportunity for a motivated and safety-focused individual to join our team as a Class B Vacuum Truck Route Driver. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting industrial waste from customers, interacting with customers to understand their needs, and generating/collecting leads for new products and services.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, a commitment to Health and Safety, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You will also be responsible for selling additional products and services into existing accounts and actively prospecting for new accounts in assigned routes.
Responsibilities:
- Collect industrial waste from customers
- Interact with customers to understand their needs
- Generate/collect leads for new products and services
- Sell additional products and services into existing accounts
- Actively prospect for new accounts in assigned route
- Primary account ownership in assigned route
- Ensure customer satisfaction at time of service
Requirements:
- Valid Class B CDL
- Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment
- Use of various mobile devices
- Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Perform physical functions per job requirements
- Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical by position
