Laboratory Technician

Safety Kleen located in Fallon, NV is currently seeking a Lab Technician. The lab technician is responsible for the routine analysis of samples to determine their chemical and physical properties.

Schedule: Sunday- Thursday; 6am-2:30pm. Overtime and Saturday as needed. Flexibility to cover swing shift if other employees are out on vacation- as we are a small team.

Pay Rate: $24 DOE

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Performs basic analysis of samples following prescribed procedures
• Utilizes basic instrumentation
• Completes all paperwork associated with the analysis in a neat and timely fashion
• Ensures that all work meets applicable QA/QC guidelines
• Performs cleaning and general housekeeping of work area

What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen?

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• BS in Chemistry or related science preferred
• 1 years of previous lab technician experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• Experience with utilizing computer software preferred
