Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Lead Mechanic to join our team and oversee the maintenance operations of our fleet.
The successful candidate will have extensive diesel engine experience and proficiency in diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
- Performing preventative maintenance, conducting inspections, troubleshoots, diagnoses failures & deficiencies & performs necessary corrections.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Ensuring that equipment is properly parked in compliance with facility permit and DOT requirements.
- Conducting Safety Checks & Annual Vehicle Inspections in accordance with provincial & federal laws.
- Maintaining a clean work environment.
