The Job
This exciting opportunity is for a Lead Vehicle Mechanic to join our safety-focused team. As a key member of our operations team, you will oversee the day-to-day activities of our shop, ensuring that all maintenance work is completed efficiently and effectively.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will require 5-7 years of diesel engine experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. You must be proficient in diagnostic, repair, and maintenance of various units, including heavy-duty forklifts, roll-off trucks, tractors, and tankers.
Responsibilities
- Supervise maintenance work to ensure company fleet compliance with DOT regulations
- Conduct inspections, troubleshoot failures & deficiencies, and perform necessary corrections
- Maintain service and parts records
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
