What are the responsibilities and job description for the Long Haul Driver Opportunity position at Clean Harbors?
As an OTR Class A Dry Van Driver at Clean Harbors, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe transportation of hazardous waste and non-hazardous waste across the country.
Your primary responsibility will be operating tractor-trailer units and other vehicles to transport goods from one location to another.
You will also be responsible for loading and unloading cargo, securing loads to prevent damage or spills, and maintaining accurate records of your activities.
In addition to these core duties, you will be expected to adhere to all relevant safety protocols and regulations, including those set by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
What You'll Need
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A valid Class A CDL license.
- At least 12 months of experience driving Class A vehicles.
- HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements.
- The ability to effectively use required technology, such as mobile applications and computer software.
Compensation and Benefits
You can expect to earn a competitive salary, averaging $80-$110K per year, which includes hourly wages for all on-duty non-driving time and mileage pay.
