What are the responsibilities and job description for the Motor Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic position at Clean Harbors?
We are seeking a Diesel Vehicle Mechanic to join our safety conscious team at Clean Harbors in Prince George, VA. This role will involve the repairs and preventative maintenance of all company-owned fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes
- To move company equipment safely on the yard as needed
- To perform preventative maintenance tasks and inspections on company vehicles and equipment
- To complete daily checklists as required
- To assure that Equipment is properly parked/secured in compliance with facility permit and DOT requirements
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- One year's prior experience working on heavy-duty trucks and equipment
- The ability to work in a team environment
- Related mechanical certifications are preferred but not required
