Regional/OTR Class A Tanker-Vac Driver
The ideal candidate will be a safety-conscious driver who can operate tractor-trailer tanker units, transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste, and adhere to company policies and DOT regulations.
About the Position
This is a flexible position with opportunities for cross-training on various equipment. The successful candidate will be based in Kimball, NE and run vac tankers and/or transport tankers as needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailer tanker units safely and efficiently
- Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste while adhering to company policies and DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, as well as vehicle inspection reports
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of cargo, and secure loads according to company procedures
- Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes, and act in a safe manner at all times
Requirements
- Class A CDL with 12 months of experience and 3 months of tanker experience
- HAZMAT and TANKER endorsements
- Ability to climb and work from heights
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
- Effective use of required technology, such as mobile applications and computer software
