- Clean Harbors is seeking a safety-conscious OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their team in Bridgeport, NJ.
About the Role
- Average annual salary of $200-250K
- Bi-weekly home time
- Compensation package includes on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay
Job Responsibilities
- Ensuring health and safety as the number one priority by complying with safe work practices, policies, and processes
- Operating tractor trailer units
- Adhering to weights and utilizing units properly
- Loading and unloading hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Securing loads
- Placarding vehicle according to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
- Maintaining daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports; Vehicle inspection reports
Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
- 12 months of Class A driving experience
- Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
Salary : $200,000 - $250,000
