What are the responsibilities and job description for the Owner Operator Class A Dry Van Driver position at Clean Harbors?
We are seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Driver to join our team at Clean Harbors Linden, NJ location. This position involves running a route from Linden, NJ to Cincinnati, OH, covering 2500-2800 miles per week.
This role requires traveling away from home for up to 12-14 days at a time, primarily operating tractor/trailer combos.
The average annual driver salary for this position is $200-250K
We prioritize Health and Safety above all else, maintaining positive and safe work environments.
Our compensation package includes on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by adhering to all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
- Operate tractor trailer units safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, as well as vehicle inspection reports.
- Placard vehicles according to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations.
Qualifications
- Will to travel overnight for 10-12 days at a time.
- Class A CDL required.
- HAZMAT and TANKER endorsements required.
- At least 12 months of Class A driving experience.
- Able to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software.
