Owner Operator-Dry Van

Job Title: OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator

Clean Harbors is seeking a professional driver to join their safety-conscious team. The role involves operating tractor-trailer units on routes from New Jersey to Ohio and surrounding areas, averaging 2500-2700 miles per week.

About the Role:

• Average annual compensation: $200-250K
• Bi-weekly home time
• Competitive compensation package includes all on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay

Responsibilities:

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with safe work practices, policies, and processes
• Operate tractor-trailer units safely and efficiently
• Adhere to weights and utilize units properly
• Loading and unloading hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste, securing loads properly
• Placard vehicle according to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintain daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch, trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications:

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• 12 months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
