Job Overview
Clean Harbors is a leading provider of environmental, energy, and industrial services throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. As a Route Driver Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing onsite service to customers in a defined route, using a Class B box truck.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely Operate Vehicles: You will safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial), and federal requirements.
- Service Parts Washer Machines: You will service parts washer machines and clean out sediment from sinks.
- Switch Out Drums: You will switch out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions.
- Upsell at Customer Locations: You will up-sell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field.
- Complete Daily Services: You will complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pick-ups in a timely manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Class B CDL: You must have a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements: You must obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
- Basic Computer and Math Skills: You must have basic computer and math skills.
- Good Communication Skills: You must have good written and verbal communication skills.
