What are the responsibilities and job description for the Route Sales and Service Representative position at Clean Harbors?
Clean Harbors is an industry leader in providing environmental, energy, and industrial services throughout North America. As a Class B Vacuum Truck Route Driver, you will be responsible for collecting industrial waste from customers such as automotive repair shops and quick oil change businesses.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes. You will also interact with customers, generate/collect leads for new products and services, and sell additional products and services into existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a route and operate a Vacuum Truck in the collection of industrial waste
- Interact with customers to understand their waste management needs
- Generate/collect leads for new products and services
- Sell additional products and services into existing accounts
- Actively prospect for new accounts in assigned route
- Primary account ownership in assigned route
- Ensure customer satisfaction at time of service
Requirements:
- Valid Class B CDL
- Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment
- Use of various mobile devices
- Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Perform physical functions per job requirements
- Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical by position
