Position summary:
The Production Team Lead/Line Lead is an integral part production department. Production Team Members operate manufacturing equipment in a high-volume production environment. The various types of manufacturing equipment operated can include: hand-held equipment and tools, specialized manufacturing machines and equipment, and hand-held measuring devices and equipment. Production Team Members are responsible for working in a team-oriented work environment, following company policies and procedures as well as supporting and upholding company safety and quality goals.
Candidate must be able to work overtime/weekends while the launch is in progress.

General purpose:
- Production Team Members, following company goals, policies, and procedures participate in the movement of goods and services to meet internal and external customer needs.
Role qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to meet customer demand in a timely manner
Position responsibilities:
- Follow all Safety procedures, processes, training, and guidelines as instructed.
- Operate various types of equipment to include but not limited to: manufacturing equipment, hand held tools and equipment, computers, control panels, and micrometers.
- Perform machine set-ups and tool changes as necessary.
- Adhere to Hyundai Steel's policies and procedures.
- Attach or remove the appropriate labels and tags on products and packages.
- Track and keep inventory.
- All Production Team Members are expected to be available for work at scheduled times and locations.
- All Production Team Members are expected to be available for work in all areas of production.
- Ensure that quality is a priority and the quality processes and procedures in place are followed.
- Follow and uphold all processing procedures and the safety guidelines associated.
- Perform routine machine checks.
- Communicate properly and effectively with Supervisors and other Team Members.
- Notify Supervisor of any mechanical or material issues, including substandard products or equipment.
- Must be able to perform at required production standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work place in accordance with Hyundai Steel policy and procedures
- Report all incidents (spills, accidents, incidents, injuries, property damage, close calls, poor performance)
- Prepare necessary SAP transactions accurately, and paperwork as needed.
- Report issues to the Supervisors that cannot be fixed or resolved and also bring insight on possible solutions.
- Participate and follow all ISO standards as required.
- Ability and willingness to rotate to other assigned responsibilities and shifts.
- Must be able to successfully function within a team environment and be able to adapt to change.
- Perform other duties and to work overtime as required.
Nonessential skills and experience:
- Ability to work well with all levels of team members.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to be truthful and be seen as credible in the workplace.

Physical demands:
- Must be able to climb stairs, stand for extended periods of time (up to 12 hours at a time), and safely lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. frequently.

Pay: $20.00-24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
