What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technicians (Electrical, Chemical and Mechanical) position at Clean Harbors?
Electrical and Instrumentation Technician
Performs hands-on instrument checks, calibrations, and PLC Logic programming, as well as diagnosing issues with control circuitry and assisting the electrical and maintenance departments with various tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
- Installs cabling, power distribution systems, and motor control centers
- Performs general electrical maintenance
Requirements
- 3-5 years of oil, refinery, chemical, or steel mill experience preferred
- Instrument and/or electrical training or degree preferred
Work Environment
Ability to work a rotating shift and overtime as needed. Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
