Salary Information: This role offers a competitive salary, with average earnings of $200-250K per year. Compensation packages include all on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay.
About the Job: As an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator with Clean Harbors, you will be responsible for transporting hazardous waste and non-hazardous waste safely and efficiently from one location to another. You will operate tractor trailer units, adhering to weights and ensuring proper utilization of the units.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Operate tractor trailer units, adhering to weights and ensuring proper utilization of the units
- Load and unload hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste properly, securing the loads
- Maintain daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports, as well as vehicle inspection reports
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Class A CDL
- HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
- 12 months of Class A driving experience
- Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
