Job Description: As a Certified Welder at Clean Harbors' Kimball facility, you will be responsible for applying trade skills to a wide variety of welding, fitting, and custom fabrication tasks. This includes setting up welding equipment for procedures, maintaining a safe clean work area, and performing GMAW, SMAW, and GTAW welding of joints and other equipment on scaffold and/or aerial lifts using appropriate fall protection.
Required Skills and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or post-secondary welding training or apprenticeship preferred. One year of experience as a welder is also required. You must be certified in MIG, ARC, and Stick welding (TIG preferred but willing to train) and have valid driver's license. Punctuality and attendance are essential.
Others: A respirator fit test is required upon hire, and a clean-shaven face is necessary when onsite at the incineration unit. Background checks, drug screens, and physicals are also mandatory. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
