The Role
We’re hiring a Working Operations Manager who will handle day-to-day operations and also work approximately 20 hours/week performing cleaning services. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who’s organized, dependable, and ready to help the business grow.
Note: everyone in the company, regardless of role will work at least one routine account. This includes the owners.
What You'll Do:
Management (Approx. 20 hrs/week)
- Create and manage staff schedules
- Hire and train cleaners as needed
- Maintain client relationships and service quality
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues
- Order supplies, restock accounts
- Conduct job site spot-checks when needed
- Weekly meetings with owner, reporting on progress and
Cleaning (Approx. 20 hrs/week)
- Clean assigned commercial accounts / Maintain a working knowledge of all accounts in your assigned area.
- Set the standard for quality and professionalism
- Support cleaners by helping at their jobs
- Fill in during absences.
Compensation
- $45,000/year base salary (includes cleaning and management duties)
- Quarterly performance bonus based on revenue from assigned accounts
- Roughly $200–$500 commission per new account (varies by size and scope)
We expect a minimum of $63,000 a year with commission and bonuses if goals are being met.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in commercial cleaning and/or team leadership
- Strong communication and time management skills
- People person who can also work alone.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Willingness to perform hands-on cleaning as needed
Schedule
- Full-time, approx. 40 hrs/week
- Flexible hours, cleaning work is mostly done at night/early evening
