What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Transporter position at Clean Recovery Centers?
POSITION PURPOSE: The Client Transporter acts as a representative of treatment staff and observes all patient activity during transport. Transporter is responsible for client safety and others, following protocol to ensure a safe work environment, before, during and at arrival to destinations. Transporter is responsible for all clients belongings during transportation process. Transporter is responsible for mail and packages to be delivered between facilities.
1. EDUCATION:
Graduation from High School or GED. Will consider individuals without a high-school diploma with at least 1 year of experience in the treatment industry.
2. EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 1-year experience in treatment industry preferred.
3. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Current and valid Florida Driver License. CPR certification and First Aid within 90 days of employment.
4. SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Demonstrates Proficiency in Communication, observation & Written skills.
- Knowledge of all state traffic laws
- Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality laws.
- Knowledge of Drug-Free Workplace Policies.
- Knowledge of Workplace Violence.
- Knowledge of Corporate Integrity & Ethics
- Knowledge of addictions.
- Ability to interact with a multi-disciplinary team to assist in facets of the recovery program relating to physical health.
- Knowledge of the 12-Step Recovery Program.
- Knowledge and competency in problem solving, stress management, ethics and team building.
- Knowledge of alcohol and other drugs that may have a physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual impact on the individual.
- Alcohol and addictive drugs and their impact on the family.
- Ability to determine if a medical emergency exists and to take appropriate action, when necessary.
- Knowledge of emergency procedures used in case of alcohol and/or drug overdose.
- Knowledge of First Aid and CPR.
