What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpet Cleaning Technician position at Clean Rite Cleaning & Restoration?
Clean Rite Cleaning & Restoration is proud to be a locally owned small business, serving all of Rhode Island. Our technicians are hard-working, meticulous, customer-service focused, responsible and trustworthy. We offer five-star residential and commercial carpet cleaning, rug cleaning, and upholstery cleaning services, as well as professional cleaning for stone, marble, tile & grout, and other finishes. With opportunities for commission, bonuses and advanced training/education, we are looking for a minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience for this position.
Applicants for this position must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, and pass a background check.
DAILY TASKS
- Communicate with clients/other staff members via phone, email and in-person
- Perform or assist in all duties necessary to provide quality carpet cleaning
- Set up the van at the job site properly
- Safely/productively prepare the home for cleaning
- Follow all procedures for pre-conditioning/deodorizing/extraction/stain protection, maintain cleanliness throughout the home during service, etc)

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- A high school diploma or GED preferred (not required)
- Commercial carpet cleaning experience a plus
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical stamina
- Attention to detail
- Clean motor vehicle and background check
